The Training Division has the responsibility of ensuring that
department firefighters receive all required training. One way they
accomplish this task is through controlled training burns. Sometimes
home owners volunteer their property to be demolished through these burns.
An event such as this, allows firefighters to safely study fire patterns,
test new equipment or procedures, and improve their skills.
