Modesto Fire has established several community education programs. Modesto's Explorer Post 9-1-1 represented our youth career education program. These young people aspire to be fire fighters one day and participate in many community outreach projects as well as gain hands-on firefighting and emergency medical skills. The Department's Clown program delivers the safety message to area elementary schools through humor and hands-on activities. Finally, the Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT) demonstrated their skills in neighborhood preparedness and education. |
